The tragic but intensely passionate love affair between romantic poet John Keats and the radiant Fanny Brawne is detailed in this romantic period drama.

A secret love affair begins between 23 year old Keats, and the girl next door, Fanny, an outspoken student of fashion.

By the time Fanny's alarmed mother and Keats's best friend Brown realise their attachment, the relationship has an unstoppable momentum. Intensely and helplessly absorbed in each other, the young lovers are swept into powerful new sensations, only cut short by Keats' untimely death at age 25.
